BioGuard® Balance Pak 300 Calcium Hardness Increaser

BioGuard® Balance Pak 300 Calcium Hardness Increaser safely & effectively increases the Calcium Hardness (CH) in your swimming pool. 

When CH is low, the corrosion of pool surfaces, especially newly plastered gunite pool walls will occur. 

In vinyl liners, low calcium hardness will contribute to a faster breakdown of the liner's plasticizer.  In short, the water becomes aggressive.

High Calcium Hardness leads to the pool water becoming scale forming which damages pool parts & surfaces.  High CH will causing scale build up in swimming pool heaters thereby dramatically increasing the cost to heat the pool.  High calcium hardness will also lead to cloudy water, especially as the water becomes warmer (over 85° F).

Excellent for use in all pools.  Swimmers may use the pool only 15 minutes after application! 

No Pre-mixing required!

For POOL use only.  DO NOT use in spas or hot tubs.

Application:
Read & follow all label instructions. When pool is not in use, broadcast proper dosage, up to 10 lbs. Per 10,000 gallons at a time, directly into the deep end of the pool with the pump running.  Do not add through skimmer.  Click here to find out how much Balance Pak 300 to use

Allow water to re-circulate 2 to 3 hours, retest, repeat treatment to adjust Calcium Hardness up to 225 - 275 ppm (vinyl pools).

Use as needed. 
Pump must run 8--12 hours daily for best results.
