Pool Size (Surface) in Square Feet
                Desired Temperature Rise in Degrees °F per Hour

Rectangular Pools - Length x  width in feet = Square footage
Round Pools - Radius x Radius x 3.14 = Square footage
Oval Pools - Use the Rectangular Pool Calculations

When in doubt as to which size to use, ALWAYS go to the next Larger Size Heater.  Remember to take other conditions into consideration when determining the proper size heater for your pool.  These include:

• Wind conditions

• Shade vs. Sun

• Use of Solar Blanket
